A native of south Florida, Kelli Rule now lives and works in Portland, Oregon, after taking a year's sabbatical in rural Idaho. Kelli studied painting at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago before completing her degree in art history from the University of South Florida. In addition to painting, Kelli has contributed articles to New American Paintings and has worked professionally as an advocate for the arts.
